Istanbul City

Istanbul City, the city of conquerors and the capital of three empires i.e. Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman, is a city marked with magnificent remnants of glorious history. The city is full of huge monuments that possess the power to charm any visitor who witnesses it. The old city, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, is the host of The 6th-century magnificent Aya Sofya mosque, the Topkapi Palace from where the sultan ruled for the better part of the ottoman empire, and the 16th-century Sultan Ahmet Mosque also known as the Blue Mosque due to its dazzling blue mosaic work, and many more.

It is the only city in the world that straddles Asia and Europe. Even though the traditional way of going from Asia to Europe was using a ferry or boat, nowadays, it is connected by three expansion bridges built over the Bosphorus and two underground tunnels running under the Bosphorus. One of the tunnels is for road transport another is for underground metro rail Marmaray.
